HAUTE MAMA: Georgia Collins, Deputy Beauty Editor of Elle

I’ve been quizzing some beautiful mamas on their top pregnancy beauty tips – up first, the gorgeous Georgia Collins, Deputy Beauty Editor at Elle Magazine.

“It sounds weird but my legs and feet became absolutely boiling at night towards the very end of my pregnancy. According to my midwife, it is quite a common thing. I would literally lie down and feel so uncomfortable with this heat rising from my feet and up my legs, almost like an itch you can’t scratch.

I tried dunking them in ice cold water and keeping cold flannels on them but in the end the only thing that worked was Elemis Instant Refreshing Gel. I would squeeze practically a whole tube on my legs and lie in complete bliss as the menthol zingyness just worked its magic. It was the only thing that worked enough for me to fall asleep comfortably. I would often wake up in the night and reapply too.

I also went to see Dr Sam Bunting about my skin – it’s such a minefield, what you can and can’t use. It’s the same with oils – I relied on NEOM’s Cocooning Oil for baths.”

Great review. Always good to hear what the beauty insiders use for pregnancy as it’s always a bit of a mind-field. Love the Neom pregnancy stuff too. Keep these posts coming! thank you
