Moo Goo Irritable Skin Balm

moogoo Treating skin sensitivities in children and babies, and indeed pregnant women, is such a minefield. Nobody wants to use steroids, and many dermatologists and GPs won’t prescribe them anyway. I had a really tough final month of pregnancy suffering with PEP (polymorphic eruption of pregnancy), and nothing was deemed safe for me to use to soothe the itch. I wish I’d found Australia’s Moo Goo Irritable Skin Balm £12.50. It’s not another greasy oil-based balm, it’s not a petroleum/paraffin-based doozy and it’s free from steroids – it’s a natural solution for skin affected by eczema and psoriasis. It looks like a lotion or milk but feels more substantial a barrier when rubbed in. I’ve actually found it works wonders on dry hands – my husband works in a hospital so is constantly doused in alcohol-based sanitizer – and I’ll be using it on stray dry patches on my feet, knees and elbows, but I’ll also be keeping it by for use on any eczema or dermatitis that crops up in me or my child.
